BEST SUNDAY MEAL IN TOWN
they are only open for lunch on Sunday, you have to call for a reservation and choose your meal a head of time this is a prefix comida, three courses. always the best, creative, terrific atmosphere, view, and food this is always in my top 5-6 in SMA
For any special occasion, or if you just want to treat yourself to a truly delicious experience, visit the lovely terrace garden at La Mansion de Montitlan. We always make it a point to take out of town visitors to experience the wonderful food and the exquisite service, provided by a staff of perfectly attentive waiters. You will feel special and warmly welcome, when you are greeted by Connie who will make certain that you have the perfect table. From first to last, you will have a memorable experience that you will want to relive again and again.

We were invited to join a friend, Barbara Eckrote, for lunch in this private home. The residence is gorgeous and we had the most exquisite view of San Miguel, as we had lunch. There were three entree items offered. My husband & I chose the Half Avocado filled with Large Shrimp & topped with Remoluade Sauce and Barbara chose the Southern Fried Chicken served with Mashed Potatoes, Cream Gravy & Fresh Veg’s. We all had salad and a decadent dessert afterward. All was very delicious ..Yum. The setting was delightful, service was excellent, as was the food. We were told that the owner only serves this meal once a week, but we would say it is definitely worth signing up for in advance, for Excellent Dining Experience. Is has been the most Excellent of all of our dining experiences, thus far, while visiting San Miguel. Hats off to Gayle….We look forward to returning. Thank you❤️

We returned to Gayle’s recently for her weekly Sunday Comida and found it even better than we remembered; the setting on a covered Veranda over looking the Colonial Town was only surpassed by the meal of three excellent courses including beverages and we brought our own wine; an exceptional good deal when you consider the large portions and great quality of food; we even had to take some of our meal away with us. Excellent service for a very relaxing afternoon.

We always stop in and say hello to Gayle and Connie when we are in town. Sunday brunch is a must do. The food is wonderful, they view can’t be beat and you meet some very interesting people. You must make reservations in advance.
