Owners are partners Judy McKay and Carolina Avila Yarish, both of whom are San Miguel full time residents and longtime friends of the original founder of an Miguel Rentals, Judy Arnold Hernandez who pioneered the use of internet for house rentals back in the days when there was “dial-up” connection. Today we are proud to continue her innovative spirit by finding you the perfect rental.
Judy McKay originally from Philadelphia, lived in the San Francisco Bay area for 40 years where she was a newspaper columnist and TV producer. She “retired” to San Miguel in 1995.
Carolina (aka Carol) Avila-Yarish, who is trilingual, worked with the NYC public school system from which she took a permanent leave of absence to settle in San Miguel in 2003 with her husband and son.
Both women know San Miguel neighborhoods very well and are active in local community service organizations.
