No seas gandalla, campaign launched by Salud Guanajuato after more than 1,000 go for vaccination in another municipality

    After more than a thousand people from San Miguel de Allende, León, Irapuato, Celaya, Querétaro and San Luis Potosí went to the northeastern municipalities to receive the vaccine against COVID, the Ministry of Health of Guanajuato launched the campaign “NO SEAS GANDALLA” (Don’t be a slacker).

    The Secretariat of Health of Guanajuato placed on its web portal the phrase “don’t be ‘gandalla’, wait for vaccine to arrive to your municipality” to ask people to allow to keep control in the places that were destined to carry the vaccination.

    “There are no more vaccines available and they are destined for the area where there are older adults from the most remote communities, and the most vulnerable people, who even among those municipalities, cannot reach the municipal capitals,” he indicated.

    As we already know, the Secretary of Health announced that the change of the Economic Reactivation Traffic Light that will be in effect from next Monday 22 and until February 28, the state official asked the population to respect the calendar for the allocation and prioritization of of the COVID-19 vaccination.
