I’m very happy to announce that I’ll be playing a show with my good friend and old bandmate Derrick Caballero at Oso Azul on Saturday, July 13, 7-9pm. Derrick is in town from Texas and this will be his only SMA appearance. A talented singer/songwriter, Derrick and I formed several bands together back in the ’80s in Austin and cut our teeth together as we learned to play, write songs, record in the studio and perform live. Many great times, but we haven’t performed together since then, so this will be a real treat for me.
So please come join us for some original music spiced up with eclectic cover selections. Acoustic music in an intimate atmosphere. No cover charge. Just imagine you’re sitting in front of the stage at Joe’s Generic Bar or even inside the old Texas Union (back when they still sold pitchers of beer).
