Deliveries

Due to our recent Covid Thanksgiving experience, we discovered that we were unable to promptly deliver the number of orders we received. This is the reality of our new San Miguel with traffic, highway construction, limited parking, and the realization (on my part) that there are now neighborhoods beyond Los Frailes—who knew?

So, let’s try this.

We will deliver to the first 30 people who place (in town) orders. For all other meals, we will offer curbside pick-up. You don’t even have to get out of your car, you can text when you arrive. Or you can arrange for a taxi or Uber to stop by. Deliveries and pick-up will run from 12-5 on December 24^th.

Logistics of a Wonderful Meal

Since one of our priorities is to give our employees time off to celebrate with their families, we will close at 5 pm on December 24^th and will remain closed until 10 am on Tuesday, December 29^th. Unfortunately, for our customers, this means no Christmas Day deliveries. We will be packing food with the assumption that you will reheat at a later time. Everything on our menu reheats nicely … and most items actually taste better the next day. I will provide instructions and please feel free to ask any questions.

This plan may seem inconvenient to some, which is understandable; however, it’s the best we can offer while trying to manage all the different factors. My goal has always been to have quality food, using the best ingredients, at a reasonable price. We make everything from scratch, including gallons of turkey stock. We never use processed food or shortcuts, and have our own organic garden to supplement our produce and provide all our herbs. But the food business is not the delivery business and due to Covid our limitations have become self-evident and we apologize.
