Learn About Our Locally-Raised, Certified Organic, Grass-Finished Beef Join us for a special BUTCHER SHOP OPEN HOUSE to learn about the locally pastured-raised, grass-finished, certified organic, beef of Cañada de la Virgen, the vast and historic cattle ranch located in San Miguel de Allende, next to the sacred Pyramid. You’ll learn how we raise our cattle on our certified organic ranch, what it means to be grass-fed AND grass-finished, how we process the beef, and an opportunity to meet our production facility team in Centro. This is a casual event with an opportunity to discover our meat, ask questions and sample a few different cuts of our very special beef, bone broth and new products.

This event is FREE and includes an on-going tour of our meat coolers and butchering department, a brief butchering demo with our head butcher Erik at 5pm and a few samples of our dry-aged organic beef and appetizers, including our newest item: organic all-beef HOT DOGS!

We do not sacrifice cattle on this property, we receive the quarters and hang them in our coolers, which you’ll see as we tour the butchering facility. You’ll learn about our holistic meat efforts, meet the our team of butchers, and gain a better understanding of why our locally pastured-raised, grass-finished, certified organic, meat is so special.

You are welcome to stop by any time during our Open House on Thursday, February 21, at Orizaba #2 (just off the Ancha), from 4pm-6pm.
