Dolores lives the life of any affluent student until her best friend is brutally murdered. Two years later, Dolores is the only suspect. As she prepares for the trial, her parents work as a team that will do anything to defend her. They obsessively control her entire world: how she looks, what she does, what she eats, and who she sees.
FICM Presents Phase Two of Cine Para Todxs.
The Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) presents the second edition of Cine Para Todxs, or “Cinema for All,” a program in which Mexican films from previous years of the festival will be screened in communal spaces.
The second phase will be held from July 19 to December 19.
Within the context of the global crisis of the Covid-19 pandemic, Cine Para Todxs emerged as part of a goal to rejuvenate cultural spaces in a number of the nation’s communities through the screening of Mexican films, and as a way to continue with FICM’s efforts to promote the work and talent of male and female filmmakers in Mexico.
Some 15 films in 15 cities across 11 states in Mexico will be screened.
The Teatro Santa Ana is an intimate 91-seat theater, located inside the Biblioteca Publica. For over 20 years, the Teatro Santa Ana has been a premiere venue for theatrical productions, musical concerts, films and conferences in Centro historico San Miguel de Allende.
In January 2020, a technical renovation was completed with state-of-the-art lighting, sound and projection systems.
