Intro To Encaustic Monoprints & Monotypes

In this 2+ hour mini-introductory class, learn how to make beautiful “one-off” encaustic monoprints and monotypes using warm pigmented waxes, better know as “encaustics”. We will be using warm hotplates as our printing “presses”, and sumi art papers which will receive the wax in a lovely, translucent manner. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! This is a very user-friendly technique that can become the basis for other works of art, or become something you’ll cherish forever. REGISTER NOW for one or both sessions!
