  • Deconstructed and Repurposed: Found Art Jewelry Workshop

    Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 10 AM – 5 PM

    Hola Amigas and Amigos,

Do you have unused jewelry or treasures you would like to repurpose into new creative art jewelry pieces. We will begin by deconstructing old jewelry and from these discarded components and found items, students will create their own unique necklaces and bracelets. Classes are held in a beautiful private art studio in Colonia San Antonio Norte, San Miguel de Allende, MX, a 10 minute flat walk from Centro.

Artist JoEl Levy LoGiudice will teach you basic jewelry techniques such as making eyepins to add charms and beads; joining pieces by creating links; using jumprings; fabricating wire clasps; and incorporating found objects with wire wrapping.

Students will leave with one or more finished pieces by the end of the workshop.

    Fee: $65 USD
Price includes 5 hours of class time, a light lunch, and basic jewelry supplies such as wire, chain, and jewelry findings.

We accept PayPal, checks or cash; US or peso. We require half down by October 10th to reserve your spot.

Contact us at meryl@meryltruett.com with any questions or for information on how to make payments.
