The Midday Rotary Club of San Miguel de Allende is going social. We’re kicking off a series of evening social events that will take place monthly throughout the next year.
Our very first meet and greet is this Tuesday evening at the home of Rotary member Lee Carter, the beautiful Casa Cinco Patios on Salida a Queretero. This will be an opportunity to socialize with members of the Midday Rotary Club, and learn about the different programs we’re involved with. Rotary of San Miguel Midday has invested more than US$1,000,000 in our community.. Throughout its 14+ years, The Midday Rotary Club of San Miguel de Allende has concentrated on developing and implementing community service projects. The first project was implemented in 2007. Some projects were implemented over several years. In total a little more than $1,000,000 USD equaling approx. $17,500,000 pesos has been invested in the projects which include Escuela Especial de Educacion, 280 Rainwater harvesting cisterns, 50 dry composting toilets, tree planting in community parks, a mobile library, and several more.
Casa Cinco Patios is a Casual Bed and Breakfast with Style service located in San Miguel de Allende Centro Historico. The spacious, colorful, house offers spectacular views of San Miguel, specifically the Parroquia, and the mountains and lakes surrounding San Miguel. You’ll enjoy a fantastic sunset as we serve pizza from The Pizza Guy and wine and beer for a modest 200 peso donation. Please join us for this very special evening and meet the people making great things happen in our community. The social takes place from 6PM to sunset at Casa Cinco Patios, Salida Real a Querétaro 55, Zona Centro, San Miguel de Allende, Gto.
