Located within a five-minute walk of El Jardin Principal (the main square), The Brooklane is the perfect jumping off point for a discovery of historic San Miguel de Allende. Strolling old cobblestone streets, painted murals and fountains you’ll find endless delights.  Peruse the many shops and galleries for inspiration, and indulge in seasonal local flavors at cozy cafes and gourmet restaurants. Sipping lattes (or Mezcal) in a lush courtyard, you experience the magic San Miguel has to offer. Within a stone’s throw of our front door, on the North side of the historic Centro, meander through the art-filled streets of Colonia Guadalupe. This Brooklyn-esque neighborhood is brimming with artists and young entrepreneurs who still express the bohemian spirit of San Miguel. Here, at The Brooklane, our beautiful pathway transports you away from the bustle of the city into an oasis of tranquility.

Through our meticulous attention to detail we aim to provide the ideal oasis for your next visit to San Miguel de Allende –– a crossroad where culture, design, food, and that insatiable “joie de vivre” converge. The interior design, which includes custom built furnishings, and carefully curated mid-century modern furniture was orchestrated by estudiobtr. The designer, who is a native of Miami, FL, wanted to bring a bit of that seaside city to a town that’s nestled in the heartland of Mexico. Much like an oasis, you will find plants (and fish) that you wouldn’t necessarily associate with the desert- like climate of San Miguel. Even-though the feel of the space is not that of a Mexican home, if you look close enough you will start to realize that both the architecture and the interior design salutes one of Mexico’s most prolific modern architects, Luis Barragán and classic Mexican modernism.
