Fat Boy is a Harley themed restaurant and very well done. The bartenders and waiters are in leather hats and vests. There are motorcycles and pieces hanging everywhere. The owners personal collection of model motorcycles which is impressive is on the upper level. There is a spacious dining room and outdoor terrace. On the ground floor outside area they have games and I understand are installing a bull for riding. I believe there is dancing on that level. We were early birds so the music had not started yet.
In any case, our meal of many appetizers including, wings, onion rings and then a Fat Boy burger, octopus, and salmon were all absolutely delicious. Our waitress, Amy was adorable and attentive, the manager, Ulises came over many times to make sure we were satisfied with the food and service. The owner even came by to say hello. We all had a beat time and enjoyed the meal. This place would be great for a large group too. -

This place is so nice From the moment you arrive and hand your car keys over to Gustavo for free parking you are treated very well. The staff is friendly and efficient (especially Ana and Amy), the premises are huge inside (2 floors) so would be great for parties, and the whole operation is very clean The food is always good: wings, salads, grilled sandwiches, dinner, dessert and full bar. The decor is really interesting and the background music doesn’t interfere with conversation. NFL available (no sound).
If you haven’t tried it because you think it is a loud biker-bar, you will be pleasantly surprised. It is located off Ancha at Calle 5 de Mayo #5, a quiet and safe part of town. We head back to the States next week and will miss this place!

Now there is a true “concept” restaurant that has opened. It is called Fat Boy’s. Not a name that would have been chosen by me, but it is what it is. Name aside, it is a fun, funky, well done theme restaurant.

Is a great place especially if you own a bike. Arvino has given attention to every detail and then some. Super nice guy. I wish him all the success. I visit at least once a week on my Harley, someone always there to greet bikers. Plus food is excellent.

We just went to Fat Boy on Cinco de Mayo (across from Pork Belly) and enjoyed everything we ordered. Arvino, the owner, paid tremendous attention to detail and clearly knows how to run a restaurant. They’re open Thursday through Sunday.
We also had a wonderful time at Fat Boy Restaurant. The place is spacious, has plenty of parking and
certainly has “personality". There was a wonderful band playing when we were there. There’s also a dance floor for those inclined. Fun evening!
We were at Fat Boy’s last night with a group of visiting friends with children. The children were never bored, thanks to the play area and the mariachi band truly was the best I’ve heard in SMA. Everyone was beyond nice and helpful. The waiters were wonderful and several employees helped us acquire 3 taxis on a very lean taxi night! No small feat!
The food was delicious. The chicken sandwich is my new favorite sandwich in SanMiguel, and the french fries were outstanding! Everyone else loved their food, also. The front door is very clever! It looks as if there is a large screen in the back for showing movies, possibly? Best of luck to the owners! Your attention to detail has produced a wonderful new asset to our little town. I know you will be highly successful!
