  • Ted Davis Galería de Fotografía is located at Zacateros 81-B, in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, described by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the most beautiful and enchanting cities in the world. This sophisticated art space was launched in October 2014 by Ted Davis and Sam Dike, after ten years of owning and running two successful art galleries in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Davis, born in Trinidad, became a professional photographer while studying theater at the University of Texas at Austin. He went on to a twenty year double career as a film & television actor and pro-photographer in Los Angeles, California. His countless roles on television programs include Seinfeld, Married With Children, and The West Wing. Davis is a member of The Royal Photographic Society of the UK, and his photographs have been featured in many world-wide exhibitions. The cinematic and theatrical photographs of Ted Davis are collected by an internationally varied client base.

The quality of the framing and the display of artwork at Ted Davis Galería de Fotografía is the result of Creative Director/Owner Sam Dike. Dike, grandson of famed California painter Phil Dike, was raised in the fine-art world of Southern California. After graduating from Boston University (Advertising & Graphic Arts) he studied culinary arts under the direct tutelage of Julia Child and Jacques Pepin. With this remarkable experience, Dike went on to spend over a decade demonstrating his refined culinary skills in the finest restaurants of Boston, Los Angeles, Palma de Majorca, Brentwood, and Malibu.

Sam Dike’s expert eye for luxurious detail, exquisite framing, matting, and curating, together with the cinematic and theatrical artworks of Ted Davis, make the delightful experience of Ted Davis Galería de Fotografía like no other.
