I am an Ophthalmologist surgeon graduated from the Hospital Nuestra Señora de la Luz, where I learned the importance of sight for all people. As I dedicate myself to attend, diagnose, treat and prevent visual problems that can cause blindness, from any field, such as cataract, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration , retinal detachment, among others, in addition to perform surgeries to stop wearing glasses, always helping people to visually rehabilitate themselves to reintegrate into their daily activities.

I have the following certificates and awards:

    • Award for excellence ‘Cum Laude’ for having obtained the best average of the XXXII generation of the Autonomous University of Querétaro.

    • Mexican Council of Ophthalmology (3874).

    • The Basic Science Examination in Ophthalmology, International Council of Ophthalmology.

    • The Optics and Refraction Examination in Ophthalmology, International Council of Ophthalmology.

    • The Clinical Sciences Examination in Ophthalmology, International Council of Ophthalmology.

My interest in returning the view to people led me to take the Retina and Vitreous Fellow at the National Rehabilitation Institute, where every day we fight against blindness and visually rehabilitate
people, through various treatments such as lasers, intravitreal medications or surgeries (Vitrectomy), returning their vision and returning them to their normal life.

I have carried out the following investigations and participated with presentations of works in National and International conferences, and as a teacher or assistant:

    • Free work ‘Results in macular edema secondary to central vein occlusion of the retina with the
Treat & Extend method ‘ – XXXVI Meeting Annual Retina, 2017.

    • Free work ‘Clinical and epidemiological characteristics of Retinitis Pigmentosa in a reference center in Mexico’ – XXXV Annual Retina Meeting, 2016.

    • Free work ‘Neovascular membrane secondary to bilateral choroidal osteoma in pediatric patients’ – XXXV Annual Retina Meeting, 2016.
