Nuestro acogedor hotel te ofrece tranquilidad y privacidad fuera de casa, en la encantadora y mágica ciudad colonial de San Miguel de Allende. Su arquitectura colonial del siglo XVII hospedó a grandes artistas del cine de oro como María Félix, Dolores del Río, Agustín Lara, Pedro Armendáriz, Jorge Negrete, entre otros. El anfitrión de ese entonces José Guadalupe Mojica, operista y poeta, le da el nombre de Santa Mónica.

When we have company in town, we always take them to this restaurant for long, lazy breakfasts because the setting is so very gorgeous. The restaurant is in the open-air central courtyard of a beautiful old hacienda. The courtyard has a big, bubbling fountain and brims with greenery and bright pink and purple bougainvillea. The tables are far enough apart for relaxed privacy – so you never feel crowded. The menu is a simple, traditional Mexican breakfast menu. We love their Huevos Diablos! On Sundays, they serve a very nice brunch buffet.

Sunday Breakfast
Sunday brunch at Antigua Villa Santa Monica is wonderful. Great Mexican and international buffet plus made-to-order omelets and quesedillas. Charming setting, on south side of Parque Juarez. Can’t remember, — maybe $230MXN, maybe a little more? Credit cards accepted; reservations good idea. I think they go from 10 a.m. to 3 or 4 p.m.
