Good afternoon. I would like to introduce myself. My name is Gregory Moore (Greg), and I am the Consular Agent here in San Miguel de Allende. I have been working at the Consular Agency since December 2017 and live here in San Miguel with my wife and daughter. I am very happy living here and working at the Consular Agency.
I wanted to post some of the contact information I feel is important for you to have in the event that you need assistance from the Consular Agency. Due to Embassy restrictions on my use of social media, personal email, etc. and federal laws related to privacy, I unfortunately cannot provide Consular assistance via the Civil list. That said, I am available via my State Department email address, which I monitor throughout the day, every day of the week. That email without any spaces is: mooregx@state.gov

If you would prefer to reach out via telephone in case of an emergency Monday-Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, we can be reached by dialing 01-800-681-9374 dialing from Mexico or 844-528-6611 if dialing from the U.S. As of 5:30 PM, a duty officer is on call at the U.S. Embassy that can take emergency calls. The number to be dialed there is 55-5080-2000.
Finally, during the week, Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, we are available here at the Agency to provide assistance. If you do not have an emergency, I would recommend scheduling an appointment to minimize your wait.
