  • The Paseo del Chorro is built in one of the most winding and ancient streets of San Miguel de Allende , up to the spring that gives rise to the name “El Chorro” and the original chapel and temple found in the upper part, and according to the locals of the time there the first Christian ceremony began in San Miguel de Allende .

The Paseo del Chorro also houses the home of the San Miguel culture since ancient water chambers were qualified as classrooms where classes in painting, music and dance are taught.

Its location is very close to Juarez Park could be said to be part of the ride, that if to access here have to wear comfortable shoes so winding street, worth you out at least a couple of pictures here as it is a place besides beautiful, historic, because here began the foundation of San Miguel de Allende due to fresh water spring so you’ll notice that this is an area full of vegetation and more humid than the rest of the city.

At the bottom are located the “Lavaderos” that even today function as such and on certain days of the week are also a place where many artists gather to paint or sell their pictures.
