Amor del Bueno

 “We educate young people about the signs of an unhealthy relationship so they can identify early signs of abuse and safely escape the relationship before it escalates to violence. This is done by providing virtual resources and trainings as well as in-person workshops given by trained facilitators.  All of our work is geared to teach people how to love better.”

How we work
Our workshops are centered around engaging young adults in dynamic and honest conversations about relationships.  This is done through the use of powerful films followed by an in-depth discussion about the larger themes of boundaries, consent, and respect. Following this, interactive activities are used to solidify the participant’s understanding of healthy and unhealthy relationships.

Why do we do it in Mexico?
This organization was started by mother and daughter team Olga Milan-Howells and Sophia Milan-Howells, in association with the One Love Foundation. Seeing the importance and success of the film that they had created for the One love, “Amor del Bueno”, they decided to bring it back to their own community in Mexico.
