The Posada Corazon is a beautiful 6 Room Inn located in the very heart of SMA, 1/2 block from the town center. It is a jewel of a find with it’s colonial arches and 100 year old working organic garden. The large property, draped with small gardens, fountains and a private library was once a private home which converted into a guesthouse open for one of the best garden breakfasts in town. Pura Vida Kitchen’s Market to Meal Class is based in the beautiful, wooden Mexican kitchen of the Posada.

Our friend Kim told us about this secret place for breakfast. You need a reservation and need to know how to find it, but you will not be disappointed. The food and service were perfect. Another hidden gem of San Miguel.
Just a few steps from the main square, the B&B occupies a spacious house surrounded by leafy trees and terraces. It features six bright, airy rooms (one with a pool), large collection of books, wireless internet, parking for guests, living rooms with a piano, orchard and breakfast including produce from our orchard.
Now called Nueve Aldama, the address is now the name, this is the same spot noted for its organic food offerings at their famous breakfasts. The staff is wonderfully helpful and, except for one, spanish-only speaking. Was not a problem. The location is superb. This is a small B&B with a luxury feel but without all the luxury services.
