“La Libertad” Boulevard will start up in Dolores Hidalgo

Adrián Hernández Alejandri assured that the start of works for the “La Libertad” Boulevard, which will connect Dolores Hidalgo and San Miguel de Allende, will take place in the Cradle of Independence. This mega work that consists of more than 32 kilometers will have an investment of more than 2 billion pesos and this great boulevard will be part of the regionalization of this area of the state.

In an interview, Adrian Hernandez, president of Dolores Hidalgo, said that soon there will be meetings to discuss the start dates, assuring that this great work has to be finished in the next 3 years. He said that they are already talking with the mayors of the north of the state about how to regionalize this area and promote substantial economic growth, to position the north of the state, such as the industrial corridor.

He added that the start-up of this work in Dolores Hidalgo will bring with it the generation of jobs for a long time, besides the fact that it will also be an economic trigger in the municipality. He affirmed that there are already industries, which due to the installed capacity in San Miguel de Allende, in terms of industrial parks, no longer allows them to be there, so it is an area of opportunity for the municipality to attract these companies and industries, but that they will try to be cautious regarding the selection of these since they intend to bring companies that are not threatening to the natural resources of the municipality.

In this sense, he assured that it is important to promote infrastructure issues such as this boulevard to be able to guarantee industry and companies that there is good connectivity and thus be able to generate more jobs and economy in the area.
