    A group of San Miguel residents is working on the rescue of the house of Ignacio Ramírez “El Nigromante”, the facade has already been restored and was presented today to the University of Guanajuato.

    The house located at 38 Umarán Street, was very neglected, its façade was already cracked and damaged, and the paint was already very deteriorated, and now the exterior wall is unrecognizable, very beautiful, very picturesque, from a very sad yellow color it went to a white color that makes it look like new, This is thanks to the will of several citizens, who value the history of the most illustrious person of San Miguel, “we are talking about the house of the most important person of all times in San Miguel, it cannot be lost”, shared Eleazar Romero, one of the participants in the restoration of the house.

    Concerned about not losing the historic property, a group of approximately 30 San Miguel residents took on the task of restoring the house of Don Ignacio Ramirez “El Nigromante”, they cooperated with economic resources and labor, they put the resources out of their own pockets and they themselves worked the cement and paint, all that was needed to leave a new facade.
