    Registration: Directly on the Organic Route or by mail Special tour to celebrate the corn and its house, the cornfield. This tour reminds us of the importance of the agroecological system that is the milpa and how it provides endless benefits that favor the life of the soil and the healthy consumption of products derived therefrom: beans, squash, chili, quelites, etc. We will visit some milpas of peasant producers and there will be a round table where everyone can share their thoughts and finally we will have an elotiza and dishes made with corn and products from the milpa to delight your palate. Do not miss it, go for a family picnic! rancho@viaorganica.org


    Our mission

    Via Organica AC is a Mexican non-profit organization whose mission is to promote healthy eating and sustainable future through the promotion of knowledge and practice of regenerative organic agriculture, fair trade, social justice, sustainable living and protecting the planet.


    Picture Via Organica is located in a groovy, art-y barrio on the north side of San Miguel (in Colonia Guadalupe). The store is much bigger than Natura and they have the largest selection of organic foods in San Miguel. They sell produce, meats, cheeses and other dairy products (or substitutes), packaged products, condiments and many items made in-house (like salsas, condiments, baked goods, etc.). They also have a small organic restaurant in the back. Via Organica is owned by a non-profit co-op that also has an organic farm.
