The recent headlines of sexual harassment are, in part, being brought to light by the ME TOO movement. There are people on both sides of the fence with many of the allegations… men versus women and women versus men.
“DECONSTRUCTING O” gives the audience an objective view of one such case involving a female college student and a male professor. The play chooses no particular point of view as to who is to blame. The verdict is yours, the audience. One more wrinkle has been added in this adaptation…the woman is a DACA dreamer and in danger, in this current United States administration, of losing her status and being deported back to Mexico. In Mexico she and her mother will undoubtedly face grave danger.

Saw Deconstructing O at Shelter Theatre last night. We loved it. The actors were amazing, topic “right on target” for this time in our lives. I hope this is seen by everyone.
This evening at Shelter was a TREAT. Exceptional production: compelling theater, timely subject, provocative intrigue. Don’t miss it!
