We’re back, with a show on Thursday, Dec. 5.  Oso Azul:  Zacateros #17.  Show is 7-9pm.

This will be our first show since last June. With the closure of some friendly venues and others with changes in ownership, we had run out of places to have these shows (even though you guys have always given us a great turnout over the past 5 years). I had wearied of banging my head against the “venue” wall, but thanks to the tireless efforts of Rob and Sach, we now have a show for you next week at Oso Azul.

Performing will be:

–new San Miguel resident David McCue. Originally from New England, David is a singer/songwriter/guitarist who was a member of the Munich prog/folk band BIGLER/ WYATT/McCUE and also of the US band BLATANT FEEL (nominated twice best in category for the Orange County, CA Music Awards);

–ex-San Antonio singer/songwriter and guitarist/banjoist Rob Ramsey;

–long-time San Miguel performer, music instructor, and singer/songwriter Sach Rioja; and

–ex-Austin singer/songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Walter Ehresman, previewing songs from his upcoming new solo release (his 18th) “Global Search Party”;

These shows tend to fill up, so you can call the café at 415 121 7402 to reserve a table. No cover charge, but tipping is appreciated.

These shows are designed as a forum where folks in San Miguel can hear original music, in an intimate setting, played and sung by the songwriters themselves. Thank you for your ongoing support of original live music in San Miguel, and we hope to see you next week.
