Ragazzi was founded in 1987, offers music education and interpretation opportunities for children and young people between 5 and 18 years of age from more than 100 schools and more than 30 coastal communities and valleys of California, United States.

Under the leadership of its artistic director and co-founder, Joyce Keil, the Ragazzi Boys Choir performs a wide range of traditional and contemporary works for versatile and changing voices.

The choir has participated in a concert with the San Francisco Opera, the San Francisco Symphony, the San Jose Opera, the West Bay Opera, the Lawrence Pech Dance Company, the Peninsula Symphony, the Masterworks Choir and the Symphonic Choir of the Stanford University, among others.

He participated in the recording of Persephone by Stravinsky of the San Francisco Symphony, which was included in the symphonic 1999 GRAMMY Award for the best classic album and for the best orchestral performance. Currently, the choir also produces its own discography. In February 2016, he presented at the Conference of American Choral Directors of the Western Region (ACDA), held in Pasadena, California.

Ragazzi Boys Chorus made its debut at Carnegie Hall in 2014 and toured regularly in the United States and internationally to broaden the musical and cultural horizons of the choir members and increase the prestige of excellence in performance that characterizes them.

This June 21 at 7:30 pm will be presented FREE in the San Francisco Temple of San Miguel de Allende with a repertoire that includes pieces by Mozart, Rimsky-Korsakov, Rutter and Schutz among others, presentation for which they will tell with the collaboration of the Public Library Choir directed by Mtro. Ramiro Granados.

Ragazzi, se fundó en 1987, ofrece educación musical y oportunidades de interpretación para niños y jóvenes de entre 5 y 18 años de edad de más de 100 escuelas y más de 30 comunidades costeras y valles de California, Estados Unidos.

Bajo el liderazgo de su directora artística y cofundadora, Joyce Keil, el Coro Ragazzi Boys interpreta una amplia gama de obras tradicionales y contemporáneas para voces tiples y cambiantes.

El coro ha realizado participaciones en conjunto con la Ópera de San Francisco, la Sinfónica de San Francisco, la Ópera San José, la Ópera West Bay, la Compañía de Danza Lawrence Pech, la Sinfónica Península, el Coro Masterworks y el Coro Sinfónico de la Universidad de Stanford, entre otros.

Participó en la grabación de Perséfone de Stravisnky de la Sinfónica de San Francisco, que fue incluida en el premio GRAMMY 1999 sinfónico al mejor álbum clásico y a la mejor interpretación orquestal. Actualmente el coro también produce su propia discografía. En febrero de 2016 se presentó en la Conferencia de Directores Corales Americanos de la Región Oeste (ACDA), celebrado en Pasadena, California.

Ragazzi Boys Chorus hizo su debut en el Carnegie Hall en 2014 y realiza giras con regularidad en los Estados Unidos y a nivel internacional para ampliar los horizontes musicales y culturales de los miembros del coro, e incrementar el prestigio de excelencia en interpretación que los caracteriza.

Este 21 de junio a las 7:30 pm se presentarán de forma GRATUITA en el Templo de San Francisco de San Miguel de Allende con un repertorio que incluye piezas de Mozart, Rimsky-Korsakov, Rutter y Schutz entre otros, presentación para la que contarán con la colaboración del Coro de la Biblioteca Pública dirigido por el Mtro. Ramiro Granados.
