  • Nulyra’s music is a rhythmic fusion of elements such as Cuban jazz, pop, soul, funk, reggae and other Afro-Caribbean flavors.

It also has influences from bolero, trova and Cuban sentiment. His lyrics are poetry to life, to the nuances of being, between light and darkness, poetry to healing as a process for human improvement.

Jessica Libertad (Nulyra) was born in Havana, Cuba into a family with many cultural interests, including music. With her father, Nulyra created her first compositions and learned her first guitar chords. Later she became interested in the bass, an instrument with which she is totally empowered and in love, after having studied electric bass at the academies of Morelos, Mexico and in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Nulyra is touring various cities in Mexico promoting her fourth EP Carmabila, which is now available on all platforms. He will also be premiering new songs from his original repertoire.

With guest artists such as Cris Cano on acoustic guitar and the Portuguese Rodolfo Embale on electric, Nulyra stood out on February 10 at the Teatro Santa Ana in San Miguel Allende.

The Teatro Santa Ana is an intimate 91-seat theater, located inside the Biblioteca Publica. For over 20 years, the Teatro Santa Ana has been a premiere venue for theatrical productions, musical concerts, films and conferences in Centro historico San Miguel de Allende.
