On Tuesday, Sept. 25, we’re having a special show at Don Lupe Grill. It’s a song swap between SMA master jazz guitarist Rolando Gotes, Nashville super-picker and songwriter Mike Duncan, Austin multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Walter Ehresman, and San Antonio songwriter/guitarist/banjoist Rob Ramsey. An informal night of good vibes and good music. Originals and cover songs you know.
So come join us for a fun night of music played like it was on your back porch (if your back porch was catered with great food and adult beverages).

Don Lupe Mexican Grill is one of my favorite San Miguel de Allende restaurants, period. Their food has a Tex-Mex slant to it (it’s the only place I know of in town where you can get cheese dip), and everything is unbelievably good. They serve fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, taco salad, and quesadillas. The prices are excellent, too. They have a 40 peso lunch menu which is the best value in town. Also, don’t miss the unlimited-refill jamaica agua fresca for just 15 pesos. I also love the outdoor garden seating area, and they serve chips and salsa while you are waiting for your meal.
