The environmental connotations and implications in the operas “The Rhine Gold”, “The Valkyrie”, “Siegfried” and “Twilight of the Gods” by Richard Wagner: we will talk about how a human being strips the Rhine River of its gold (Nature is told of its non-renewable resources) and how this leads to endless abuses, hardships and misfortunes that end up collapsing the entire human society.

Gerardo Kleinburg is a music critic and opera promoter in national and international media. He was named the best Mexican music critic by Proceso. He covered the Salzburg Festival for 13 years.
