Allan Cheseks met Paolo several years ago when he was looking for a guide in Lisbon, Portugal. He selected the highest rated guide to give him a walking tour of Lisbon. He quickly discovered that Paolo was a ‘converso’, engaged with the Jewish community and could trace his Jewish roots back centuries. He asked Paolo if he could give him, instead of a regular tour, a Jewish tour of Lisbon, and he quickly agreed. It was the best and most memorable and informative walking tour I ever had. Yes there is a cost but it is a nominal one of $5 and remember Paolo does this for a living. Not only will you thoroughly enjoy this session, I would not be surprised if we ask him to return in the near future.
