    Webinar

I am delighted to invite you to Democrats Abroad’s webinar with screenwriter and LGBT activist Dustin Lance Black on July 2 at 1 PM EDT (Washington, DC time) as he talks with us about the 2020 elections and issues facing the LGBTQ+ community. Click here to RSVP for the webinar.

Dustin Lance Black won an Oscar and two WGA Awards for his screenplay MILK, the biopic of activist Harvey Milk starring Sean Penn. He was also a founding board member of the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER), which successfully led the federal cases for marriage equality in California and Virginia, putting an end to California’s discriminatory Proposition 8.

The call will start at 1 PM EDT (Washington, DC time).  Participants who RSVP will be able to email questions for Mr. Black prior to the webinar and post questions in the Q&A box during the webinar. RSVP HERE.

While there is no donation requirement to attend, we hope you’ll consider a donation to support our Global 2020 Get Out the Vote campaign.  A donation of $10 – or more – will help us reach hundreds of potential voters!  Even if you can’t join the webinar, you can show your support by clicking here and making a donation for this event.

Thank you for your support – we look forward to you joining the call with Dustin Lance Black! Click here to RSVP and find out more about submitting questions.

And it’s not too late to RSVP for today’s webinar with Ambassador Samantha Power at 11 AM EDT.  RSVP HERE.
