    This fun energizing class created by Tai Chi Master Lydia Wong starts with qigong exercises for health, the use of bamboo sticks  and tai chi fans help with brain body balance, enhance weight loss and to improve heart health. Over the course of a few weeks, students learn the tai chi 8 directions and Tai Chi movement in meditation for peace and harmony. All welcome, no experience required. Drops ins welcome, no experience required, all levels.

    Thursday 2:45pm -4:00pm
    Lydia introduces Tai Chi basics for health and balance. Students also learn how to transform habitual physical and emotional postures to help you heal from illness and injury, improve range of motion, and reduce pain. This is a small personal group class, please arrive by 2:30pm to relax and transition, class starts at 2:45pm with healing mudras and sound meditation for grounding.

      I loved my week of Tai Chi Mambo in San Miguel. The class takes place three days a week at 0930, so it is a great start to the day. It’s outside in the Juarez Park invariably in the Mexican sunshine. It combines elements of Tai Chi, Qigong and Latin dancing! It’s a good workout for the mind and body. You can just turn up and attend; you don’t need any previous experience. My sister-in-law is a regular on her winter stays and so we discovered this through her.

      The tai chi class is a wonderful way to find inner peace and renew your energy. I absolutely LOVED it! Lydia is such a graceful, kind and generous teacher… I strongly advise you to take the chance and enjoy this magical experience!
