  • Lydia is a health and wellness expert who enjoys working with students who are ready to make a commitment to finding balance and greater joy in their life through the practice of tai chi and qigong. Because it’s a small class, students have the opportunity for personal attention combined with group learning in a safe and supportive environment.

    Tai Chi Studio, Tuesday and Thursday, Time 3:00pm – 4:00pm.
    Registration by email with dates of attendance is required to reserve your space.

    Other Tai Chi Class:
    San Miguel Tai Chi Mambo
    Benito Juarez Park. We use either the main or small basketball court.
    Monday, Wednesday and Friday, Time: 9:30am – 10:30am.

    Students learn the basic essentials of an easy tai chi form, hand gestures, co-ordination and steps to music.
    We meet at the main or small basketball court. Suitable for all ages, beginners are welcome, no experience required.

      Best Tai Chi class I’ve EVER had the pleasure of taking. As a beginner who had only taken a couple of classes with a different instructor before attending I was concerned about how I would ‘fit in’ with students that had been studying with Lydia for quite some time. But my concerns were immediately put at ease with Lydia’s unique and relaxed attitude. Her ‘don’t sweat the details’, ‘no worries, nothing to PERFECT’ approach made the classes fun and totally TRANSFORMATIVE at the same time. I can’t WAIT to return to San Miguel to return to my Tai Chi practice with this REMARKABLE woman! If you are looking for a relaxed, calming, lighthearted and oh so HEALING experience I HIGHLY recommend San Miguel Tai Chi. Just being in the studio is a ZEN experience. Surrounded by a grove of bamboo, in harmony with the natural beauty of the surroundings, practicing under an azure blue sky…I could feel all 7 chakras coming into perfect alignment. BALANCE. Sacred energy. Pure JOY. What more could one possibly require?

      I’ve long been subject to problems with my balance that are the result of an inner ear disorder. I’ve practiced yoga for years and, although I’ve received many benefits from my practice, it hasn’t done much to relieve my balance difficulties. I’m amazed that after only two lessons with Lydia I can stand steadily on one leg, then on the other, then do it again. I’m delighted with my new sense of stability.

      She is every woman’s best beauty secret and will take 10 years off you as you leave glowing with radiance, love and joy that is your true essence! Her private healing and teaching sessions are incredible and I highly recommend her for your stay in San Miguel. She is a wonderful person and her radiance is always so inspiring to me.
