What will be covered:

-“Options to protect yourself short term or long term on your adventure abroad.”

-What to expect in a medical emergency, Red Cross, Local and regional Hospitals and Clinics. Social he

-Health insurance companies, concerns, underwriting, age limits of 75, keeping policies for life guaranteed.

-Local hospitals, updates and our experiences with our clients for care.

-Coordinating with Medicare, ( are you protected?) and Canadian Provincial Plans.

-Overview of actual local healthcare costs, experiences from recent major claims we have seen here. Is self insurance  a reasonable option? Mexico’s medical inflation problems.

-How Medical Evacuation Programs really work and coordinating with these plans. What to consider before relying on these plans. Will they take you home? What to look for in a company.

-US health plans. Should you continue keeping these plans? Do they work here in Mexico? Cover yourself in the USA with a reasonably priced Expat plan and save a small fortune.

-Basic overview of premium costs, restrictions, coverage options for Mexico, Worldwide or adding the USA/ Canada coverage, direct reimbursement to Mexico hospital programs. The seminar will last about 1  hour, with a Q and A afterward.

Light snacks will be served.
