Love/Power with Marsha Hudson & Norman Brown – Experiential 4-hr Workshop w Coffee Break

An increasing awareness and sensitivity to the emotions that go into the power experience and how to direct power to allow for deeper appreciation and conscientious management of power within self and others, and ultimately greater commitment to express power together with the opposite sex for humanity and the biosphere.

What if a process for developing durable emotional intimacy between the sexes is also a path to sustainability for humanity and the biosphere? Come join in forging a new way forward for the cultural revolution bubbling up around us. Women come to human experience centrally seeking and giving love while men are socialized to seek power over their environment and other people. Workshop participants will touch into unexplored emotions and share them in dyadic empathy exercises. Thus we will strengthen our capacity for intimate relations on the way to harnessing the transformative forces of inborn emotions to balance female and male leadership in our world. We will begin the process of bringing our most uncomfortable unconscious emotions into consciousness and conscientious management as the foundation for a cultural revolution uniting the emotional dynamics of love and power that can lead to compassion for all living things.

Marsha Hudson has a lifelong interest in dreams and began recording her dreams as a teen. Since 2002 she has facilitated dream work with individuals, with group, and workshops. She has studied archetypal projective dreamwork with Jeremy Taylor and is certified by the Marin Institute of Projective Dream Work.

Norman Brown is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. His research and publications have focused on Love Relationships. Norman has taught at the university, community college and high level over the course of his career. In addition to working with adults and couples Dr. Brown facilitations men’s growth groups.
