This is in the new trendy hotel and design center located at the former Casa Cohen, on calle Reloj. This historical San Miguel building now houses high-end boutiques and galleries, featuring luxury jewelry, designer clothing, and gourmet cuisine. Amid the artwork, there are paintings, sculpture, and photography. Boutique of brands both Mexican and international, such as Carla Fernández, Turia My Pearl, Recreo, Armour, etc. are all here. In the gourmet section, you’ll find restaurants such as Cumpanio and newcomers Taco Lab and Birdie’s Burgers. This space along contains a new boutique hotel, named L’Ôtel. Dôce-18 presents itself as collective project that concentrates the best of design, fashion and cuisine, right here at the heart of Mexico: San Miguel de Allende. Dôce-18 is located on Reloj 18, just a few steps away from the Jardín.

It is a most modern upscale mercado in a lovingly restored 18th century building (the former Casa Cohen) featuring glamorous goods of the highest quality, one stall blending into the next. Jewelry, clothing, art displays, desert bars, beauty products, a spice market, home goods, an art book library—there is one shopping adventure after another in this high-ceiling, beam-exposed modern environment. As you peruse these unique shops, you will wind your way back to a light-filled high-end food-court atrium featuring Marco Cruz’s Milpa, Donnie Masterton’s Taco Lab and Birdie’s Burgers, Mac & Soup, a beautiful wine emporium, Rivero Gonzalez, San Mike gourmet pizza, Euro Te—oh, and on your way to the food court, you will encounter chef Mateo Salas’ newest restaurant, Jacinto 1930.
