It’s that time of year. The lull between Christmas and Easter but there is a lot to do in San Miguel de Allende as we head into February. How many times have you or your house guests asked? What is happening here next month? What’s going on at Teatro Santa Ana or the Peralta? Where is Lady Zen performing? How do I find a Dermatologist in San Miguel? What walking tours are available? Where do I find Art Workshops? Isn’t Concurso coming soon?
Find the answers to these and other questions at the next Rotary Club Meeting on January 28th. Ron Lenox, the creator of DiscoverSMA.com will be our guest speaker. He will give us an overview of his informational website and show us how to find the answers.
Ron Lenox was a Sales Director in Southern California for AT&T for over 20 years. He also spent 4 years in Product Marketing at AT&T Headquarters in New Jersey. After retiring in 2002, he devoted his time to non-profit organizations in order to give back to the Orange County Community. He served on the Board of Shanti Orange County for 7 years and was a Fund Raising Guild Chairman for AIDS Services Foundation in Orange County.Ron and his partner came to San Miguel de Allende for the first time in 2013. They immediately fell in love with the history, architecture, activities and especially the people. They purchased a home in 2015 with the intent of spending time in both San Miguel and Irvine, CA. Living in two places presented challenges to his charitable work. He created DiscoverSMA as a way to continue his non-profit activities and meet people in his new Community.
The Midday Club of San Miguel de Allende meets every Tuesday. Doors open at 9AM, the meeting begins at 9:30AM. We’re located at Los Arcos at #27 Sterling Dickenson.
