It seems within our reach to think of San Miguel Allende as “A City of Consciousness” … a place whose urban legacy will effect the ancient desert we live in … a microcosmic expression of human saturation amid the delicate barren wilderness surrounding us. We could be a city of inhabitants that reseed ourselves through responsible behavior for the generations who come after.

Getting to the YES

I want to propose the idea of thinking of yourself as an ambassador for Green Team SMA. We have no illusions that this will be a simple feat. We’ve realized that working in groups can be both the most exhilarating and exasperating task around. We have found out how enthusiastic ideas have little to do with the reality of carrying a project to completion. We have learned how hard it is to be a volunteer and how easy it is to become burned out. However. nothing is lost in trying, and everything is gained by believing in a shared wholesome future.
