    The event is sponsored by Patitas de Humanidad SMA a group that encourages spaying and adoption as well as education about good care for pets.  The founder, Margarita Zavala, wants to increase awareness of animals who need homes and has worked with the municipal government to focus on adoption of dogs from the city pound. There will also be cats from Santuario Felino Rey Ashoka.
    The free event will be held from 10 am until 1 pm on Saturday, October 24th.  The location is Montitlan #15 in Balcones. As you come up Cuesta de San Jose, Montitlan is a left turn and #15 will be on your left.
    Even if you don’t plan to adopt, please stop by and see the animals who need homes. One of them might just steal your heart!
