The Children’s Art Foundation is a non-profit organization founded to help underprivileged children reach their full potential through art. Enriching children’s lives through art: We offer free education in art and literacy to disadvantaged children in many rural communities of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico in their own classrooms, taking the program and the teachers to their doorsteps. Our program is art with a difference! We teach children drawing, painting, imagining and story writing, the life skills of self-expression. Children develop fine motor skills, attention to detail, problem solving and self-confidence; all while having fun and learning to draw great pictures and create great stories. Art as Cultural bridge: We also create employment for artists and promote goodwill with the local communities, engaging volunteers, training teachers, and reinforcing sustainability. How you can help: Please go to our website to volunteer or make a donation at www.artedelosninos.org We welcome you to visit our Saturday classes and find your special place.
