This unique 3-Day Monoprint Workshop will cover basic techniques – additive, subtractive, multiple drop transparency – all with an experimental approach. Students will focus on how to incorporate found objects, photo transfer, collage and textures to build an image. Everyone is encouraged to bring items from their travels and flea market finds – sheet music, old letters, metal, paper, fabric, plastic, string, bubble wrap in which to embellish the print. This will be a fun exploration of the printing process and will result in rich surfaces and interesting focal points. We can use most material, although all won’t go thru the press.

Workshop Fee: $320usd. Includes inks, printing supplies & one 22″ x 30″ sheet of BFK paper. Additional paper available for purchase.
A $100 usd non-refundable deposit holds your space.
