    WHAT IS THE MADONNARI?

The Madonnari was born in Italy, devotees made works on the floor with chalk or charcoal drawing virgins, in Italian “Madonnas” hence the name Madonnari, and over the years has become an artistic movement that fills the squares of different cities of color and an outdoor gallery, remembering that this technique is so on the floor with chalk pastel and is an ephemeral art, ie, is not durable. The artists are physically prepared to work outdoors for two days. They are artists who have dedicated themselves for years to this.
